Prior to joining Brightleaf Holdings, Alex was a Special Forces Officer in the United States Army. Over the course of the last decade, Alex led teams on deployments across the globe, creating comprehensive and sustainable solutions to complex and dynamic problems.

Alex has earned a BA in Finance from Washington State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Alex lives in Austin with his fiancé, and he places great importance on personal fulfillment. He finds joy and solace in spending time with his loved ones, cherishing the moments shared with family and friends. Outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, snow sports, and water sports fuel his adventurous spirit and provide an avenue for him to reconnect with nature.
