John Bailey is an Investor at Brightleaf Holdings, where he is responsible for due diligence and deal execution. John works across industries and company stages, focusing on both platform and add-on acquisitions.

Prior to joining Brightleaf, John worked at General Atlantic as a Senior Operating Associate, where he led commercial due diligence and value creation initiatives both across the portfolio and globally. In this role, John worked with companies in healthcare, tech, consumer, financial services, and more on both deal execution and post-acquisition value creation.

John holds a BA from Tufts University,  where he was on the Varsity Rowing Team, and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

John lives in New York City with his fiancée, Katerina, and their cat, Boris.
